We saw this place on Instagram reels and decided to come on a whim, and we were glad! It's very pink and influencer core inside, but when we came it was fairly empty. The vibes are lovely, with cute decorations such as neon lights and candles. We split a Speak it into Fruition parfait but be warned that if you're in group of 3, everyone needs to order something. This was probably the yummiest dessert I've had in New York City so far! It's very sweet but the combo of delicious whipped cream, fruits, oreos, cake, and ice cream was unlike anything i've had before. It is a bit too sweet, so splitting is the move! This is the kind of place that doesn't need a waiter yet there is one anyway, but you need to get his attention every time you need to order or pay. I would recommend going if you can!
We were on the hunt for some refreshing shaved ice (bingsu) and stumbled upon the delightful Sweets Laboratory by Hanamizuki on Google Maps. While the bingsu certainly didn't disappoint, the true star of the show was their incredible croffle – a delectable hybrid of croissant and waffle. It was so good, we had to order a second one! The service was fast and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend checking them out!
We have been coming here multiple times whenever we are in the mood for some yummy desserts! The two of us usually share one queen snow, which is big enough to share for 2-3 people. We also enjoyed the “so matcha love” crepes once with a larger group - it was delicious and not overly sweet. If you need a nightcap, the sake jelly shots (3 different flavors) will surely give you the sugar high you need.
Cute and insanely delicious desserts! Very authentic Japanese style ice-cream. Beautifully presented and the venue inside is super cute. My girls and I really enjoyed our time here and I've gotten so many compliments on our photos of how delicious everything looks! The treats are just as tasty as the pics look!
This place is a wonderful dessert spot! Sweets Laboratory by Hanamizuki servers a selection of unique and delicious desserts - definitely get the Banana Snow Sundae! Their Croffle (croissant waffle ) with Fruit , Parfaits, and Crepes, also look incredible! Staff is super friendly and welcoming! Service is quick , ambience is fantastic, and the place is beautifully decorated! I wish I came here earlier!
Walked over from Korea-town and surprised there’s not a line out the door. Very very cute spot, decor, utensils, and table ware. All visually and palate stimulating. We enjoyed the Mocha me crazy and mango shaved ice and WOW! Super delicious and service very friendly. Thank you for the experience, we will definitely return!
Lovely place for desserts. I got parfait and croffle, both looked and tasted pretty good. Staff was very nice too. Hours on google maps are incorrect. I wanna come back for the Hanamizu Cafe.
After a heavy meal elsewhere on a warm evening, the Palm Peach snow sundae with pudding was the perfect ending. The positive statements in neon lights and quick friendly service were excellent. BTW- Entering the place feels uncomfortably stuffy; the thermostat showed 77F... but as you eat the cold desserts, that stuffy humidity ends up feeling great, and you can finish the dessert without your teeth chattering. Smart thinking from the owner!
